“More” is a sign I use often in my therapy sessions with almost all young children. It is functional and can be used in a variety of contexts for a variety of purposes 🤩

Here’s a fun way to present articulation/language cards in therapy! When all the cards are gone the child gets to play with the slinky 🤪

Cheers to accepting a new job...I will continue to work part time at a private practice and in August I will begin working 2.5 days at an elementary school 🤩

I had a parent ask me today for game recommendations that she can play with her child at home to also target her speech goals... I recommend TAPPLE!

I think when people think of SLP’s they think of “teaching kids how to talk”. Yes we definitely do that but we also teach them how to COMMUNICATE.

How many trials are you getting in your sessions? I find that using a clicker helps keep me on top of eliciting trials and motivates my client. I aim for 10 productions per turn but I don’t stop my client if they willingly produce more 😊
